Steady-State Heat Transfer
Steady-state heat transfer analysis is used to determine temperature distribution, heat flow and heat flux in steady-state conditions. The temperature distribution throughout a part often causes expansion or contraction of its materials, which leads to thermal stress. Therefore, consideration of such temperature effects is critical to predicting the success of parts.

The software automatically handles variable material properties so engineers can more easily analyze the impact of temperature profiles on a design. Engineers specify surface loads including convection, conduction, radiation and heat flux and internal body loads like heat generation.
