ALGOR INTERNATIONALIZES FEA SOFTWARE

ALGOR’s internationalized software includes support for six languages, including Chinese (simplified--as shown adjacent), English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

PITTSBURGH, PA – June 2, 2005 – ALGOR, Inc., a leading provider of design, analysis and simulation software, announced an early June release of the first-ever, multilingual, full-featured finite element analysis (FEA) software that works associatively with most CAD solid modelers. This new  internationalized version allows engineers to run the software in any one of six languages, including Chinese (simplified), English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

ALGOR worked with language localization experts at Echo International to ensure that its multilingual support accounted for such considerations as dialect, culture, currency, writing style, numbering, weights and measures, timing, geography, dating and more.
