ALGOR SHOWCASES V16.1 AT SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2005
 |
ALGOR will demonstrate its latest software, V16.1 at the SolidWorks World 2005 Conference, being held from
January 30 – February 2, 2005 in Orlando, Florida.
As a SolidWorks Solution Partner, ALGOR features an easy-to-use single user interface, FEMPRO,
which provides direct CAD/CAE
data exchange and full associativity with SolidWorks for all analysis types, allowing SolidWorks users to
simply choose the analysis tools they need.

PITTSBURGH, PA – January 12, 2005 – ALGOR, Inc., a leading provider of design, analysis and simulation software,
announced that it will demonstrate ALGOR V16.1 at the seventh annual SolidWorks World 2005 Conference, being held from
January 30 – February 2, 2005 in Orlando, Florida.
SolidWorks World brings together designers, engineers, managers and partners to discuss ideas, trends and the technology
shaping the future of mechanical design.
As a SolidWorks Solution Partner, ALGOR features an easy-to-use single user interface,
FEMPRO,
which provides direct CAD/CAE
data exchange and full associativity for each design change in SolidWorks® software.
This allows SolidWorks users to simply choose the analysis tools they need, giving
them access to ALGOR's wide range of simulation capabilities beyond simple
static stress, such as Mechanical Event Simulation (MES) with linear and nonlinear material models, linear dynamics,
steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow, electrostatics and full multiphysics.
"At SolidWorks World 2005, attendees will see free demonstrations of how easy it is to design products using
SolidWorks and ALGOR's wide range of analysis and simulation tools," said ALGOR Product Manager, Bob Williams.
"We will also be demonstrating the new features of V16.1,
our latest software release, including parametric,
structured meshing and modeling tools for defining mixed element type models as well as expanded CFD tools
including support for fan effects and particle tracking."
"Because ALGOR uses the same user interface for all analysis types, it's fast and easy for SolidWorks users to
study the numerous physical factors affecting their designs," said Brian Houle, manager of the SolidWorks Partner Program.
"We are pleased that ALGOR will showcase V16.1 at SolidWorks World 2005 so that our customers can see the power
and increased productivity that comes with a combined solution of ALGOR and SolidWorks."
